We strongly recommend booking 8 to 12 months in advance. The Saudi government allocates a strict quota of Hajj visas to each country, and spaces fill extremely quickly once they become available. Booking early is the only way to guarantee your place. Contact us now to join the waiting list for Hajj 2025.
You will need a valid UK passport with at least 6 months validity, completed visa application forms, recent passport-sized photographs, proof of Muslim faith (a letter from your local imam or mosque), and for women travelling without a mahram, proof of travelling with an approved group. We handle all paperwork on your behalf.
Yes. The Saudi government now allows women over the age of 45 to perform Hajj without a mahram, provided they travel as part of an organised group. Al Masa Travels is an approved group operator. Women under 45 must still be accompanied by a mahram. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Our qualified scholars are on hand throughout your Hajj to guide you through every rite and answer any religious questions. If a rite is missed for genuine reason, there may be a dam (penalty) required — our scholars will advise you on the correct course of action according to Islamic jurisprudence.
Umrah can be performed at any time of year. However, performing Umrah during the blessed month of Ramadan carries the reward equivalent to performing Hajj, according to the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ. The cooler months of November to February are also popular for those who prefer milder temperatures. We offer departures throughout the year.
The rites of Umrah themselves can be completed in a few hours. Our packages range from 10 to 14 nights to allow you to fully immerse yourself in worship, visit the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, and take part in Ziyarat tours of the historic sites. Bespoke durations are also available on request.
You will need a valid UK passport with at least 6 months validity, completed visa application forms, and recent passport photos. We handle the entire Saudi Umrah visa application on your behalf. Women under 45 should note they may need to travel with a mahram — please contact us to discuss your situation.
